JACKS

 

The game is very common and is called jacks, jaces, yases or jaxes.

 

This game consists on throwing the jacks to the ground and then throwing the ball into the air and before the ball hits the ground twice you have to collect the jacks; first one by one, then two by two and so on until all are collected.

 

There are so many ways to play, some different from the others or very similar, but we can mention some of the rules of this game; the  most common rule is when the player have to throw the jacks into the air and try to catch as many jacks as possible with the back of the hand,  if the player  is able to not let one of the jacks fall to the ground, so we no longer have to play one by one or two  by two, we go directly to playing in pairs considering the color of the jacks.

 

The game is more than just fun; it is also a mental exercise and it’s a fast-paced lesson in physics and math.
